{"id":10005168,"date":"2023-06-21T13:42:59","date_gmt":"2023-06-21T17:42:59","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/empirelivestock.com\/auctions\/weekly-tuesday-sale-2\/2022-12-01\/"},"modified":"2024-04-28T10:53:58","modified_gmt":"2024-04-28T14:53:58","slug":"weekly-tuesday-sale-2","status":"publish","type":"tribe_events","link":"https:\/\/empirelivestock.com\/auctions\/weekly-tuesday-sale-2\/2024-11-05\/","title":{"rendered":"Weekly Tuesday Sale"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>April 28, 2024 (10:00 am)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Dear Valued Customer,<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>As of Sunday, April 28<sup>th<\/sup>, Empire Livestock will be receiving cattle at our auction facilities.\u00a0 The current USDA requirements state that all lactating dairy cattle must have a certificate of veterinary inspection to cross state lines.\u00a0 Since the majority of the processors who buy cull dairy cattle are out of state, <strong>all sales will be subject to passing a certificate of veterinary inspection before the sale is finalized.<\/strong>\u00a0 Empire Livestock will accept healthy lactating dairy cattle at this time.\u00a0 <strong>We reserve the right to reject dairy cattle showing signs of cough, fever, swollen lymph nodes, nasal discharge or diarrhea<\/strong>. We will not be accepting any out of state dairy cull cattle for sale at our auctions at this time.<\/p>\n<p>At this time, all calves, beef breeds, and non-lactating dairy cattle do not need a certificate of veterinary inspection.<\/p>\n<p>This is a very fluid situation, and we understand that there are rumors and speculation circulating.\u00a0 We are working diligently with the processors to keep our markets operating as smoothly as possible and provide the level of service that you are accustomed to.<\/p>\n<p><strong>If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact your local sale barn.
