Position: Barn Laborer / Backup Ring Clerk
Job Description:
- Barn Laborer: Must have experience handling and sorting livestock, cleaning pens and barn areas, assisting with loading/unloading livestock, and dock-in procedures.
- Backup Ring Clerk: Assist with clerking livestock/sale items into the auction block. Experience with Windows-based software is required, with a willingness to learn the livestock auction program.
- Support livestock auction functions
Requirements:
- Part-time, 2-3 days per week depending on sale days, with occasional Saturday hours required.
- Must be reliable with dependable transportation.
- Experience in livestock handling required, clerking experience is preferred but not necessary.
Pay:
- Hourly rate: $16.00 – $18.00 per hour (depending on experience).
